Explore Greek culture and countryside too

Reviewed 12 January 2015 NEW

Our family, including two girls (16 and 20yrs) spent a lovely day riding through the countryside around Nafplio. Stavroula took us to so many special places we could never have discovered on our own. Views of the towns and sea, riding through the orange groves, visiting a local monastery and even given the traditional Christmas biscuits by the nun. Lots of chatting and cultural and historical insights along the way. Be prepared to push your bike up some hills and you’ll have a memorable day.

Biking with Grecopaths in Nafplio

Reviewed 30 October 2014

A fabulous way to see Nafplio and get some exercise too. Our guide, Stavroula, extremely flexible, accommodating and patient, planned this bike trip according to our requests. We saw beautiful coastal scenery at a leisurely pace, made a few stops at interesting local spots and ended at Palamidi Castle. Not for the ‘faint of heart’ as it was a definite challenge to reach this spot, high on a cliff but well worth it. (participants ages ranged from 55 – 65) The guide we had at the Castle was EXCELLENT, very interesting and informative. The trip ended with an inclusive lunch of local cuisine. Delicious but not sure I can remember the names of it all. No question, a truly different and wonderful way to experience a vacation spot. Must not forget to mention the bikes were in excellent condition and great quality. I’m convinced my efforts at home would be reduced and more enjoyable by purchasing a new one.
